Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of Classic Source, the parts price comparison service operated by DattaDock LLC.

Plain English, and not legal advice
This document was written by the operator in plain language so that it accurately describes how the service actually works. It is a starting point. It has not been drafted or reviewed by an attorney, and nothing on this page is legal advice.
DattaDock LLC intends to have a lawyer review these terms before relying on them. If you are reading this as a customer or a partner and something here matters to your decision, please write to us and ask.
1. Who you are agreeing with
Classic Source is operated by DattaDock LLC, a limited liability company based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean DattaDock LLC, and "you" means the person using the service. You can reach us at info@classicsource.app.
By using Classic Source you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.
2. What the service is
Classic Source is a search and price comparison tool for classic car and truck restoration parts. You enter a vehicle and a part, and we search participating retailers, gather what they list, and show you the results together with prices, part numbers, stock status and a fitment assessment where we can produce one. Signed-in accounts can also save vehicles and searches, and paid accounts can ask an optional AI assistant questions about the results.
3. We do not sell parts
Every purchase happens on the retailer's own website, not here. We do not hold inventory, take orders, collect payment for parts, ship anything, or handle returns, warranties or cores.
When you click through to a retailer you are entering a separate transaction with that retailer, governed by their terms, their prices, their shipping policy and their return policy. We are not a party to that transaction, and we are not their agent. Any dispute about an order, a shipment, a refund or a warranty is between you and the retailer.
4. Prices, availability and other retailer information
Prices, stock status, part numbers, descriptions and images shown in Classic Source come from the retailers, not from us. That information can be incomplete, cached, out of date, or simply wrong at the source. Some retailers do not publish a price at all, in which case we show no price rather than guessing.
Always confirm the current price, shipping cost, taxes and availability on the retailer's page before you buy. Where our figure and the retailer's page disagree, the retailer's page is correct.
5. Fitment information carries no warranty
Our fitment check compares the listing against the year, make, model and engine you selected and reports whether a part fits, likely fits, needs to be verified, or appears not to fit. It is built from the information retailers publish plus our own matching rules. It is a research aid, not a guarantee, and it can be wrong in both directions.
You are responsible for confirming that a part fits your vehicle before ordering it. We are not liable for a part that does not fit, for return shipping, for restocking fees, or for labor, downtime or other costs that follow from ordering the wrong part.
6. The AI assistant
The optional AI assistant answers questions about the search results currently on your screen. To do that, the part you searched for, the vehicle you selected, the product listings that came back and the question you typed are sent to Anthropic's API for processing. AI answers are generated automatically and can be incorrect or incomplete. Treat them as a suggestion to check, not as advice to act on. Do not rely on an AI answer as the sole basis for buying a part or performing a repair.
7. Accounts
- You can search without an account. An account is needed to save a garage or searches to your profile and to use the AI assistant.
- Give an email address you control, and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and at least 13 years old.
- Tell us at info@classicsource.app if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
- We may suspend or close an account that is being used in a way that breaks section 9, that puts the service or its retailers at risk, or that is unlawful.
8. Plans, billing and cancellation
- Free accounts. Searching, the garage and saved searches are available without paying. The AI assistant is a paid feature.
- Paid plans. Classic Source offers a Pro plan at $20 per month, and one-time top-ups of additional AI questions. The plans currently offered, what each one includes, and their prices are shown in the app at the moment you subscribe, and that display governs. We may add, change or withdraw plans; any plan not shown in the app is not available.
- How you are billed. Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions are charged monthly in advance and renew automatically each month until you cancel. All prices are in United States dollars and do not include any taxes that may apply.
- Card details. Your card is entered on Stripe's own checkout page. Card numbers never reach our servers and we never see or store them.
- Canceling. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal in your account, which is Stripe's customer portal. Canceling stops the next renewal. Your plan stays active through the end of the period you have already paid for, and we do not prorate or refund a partial month unless the law requires it or we agree otherwise.
- Monthly allowances. Plans that include AI questions include a set number each calendar month. Unused questions do not carry over into the next month.
- Price changes. We may change plan prices. If we change the price of a plan you are on, we will tell you by email before it takes effect, and you can cancel before the new price is charged.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails, access to paid features may pause until the payment succeeds.
9. Acceptable use
When you use Classic Source, please do not:
- Scrape, crawl, bulk download or otherwise systematically extract results, whether by script, bot or any automated means, or resell or redistribute the data we assemble.
- Run searches at a volume or rate designed to load the service or the retailers we query, or attempt to work around rate limits.
- Use the service to violate a retailer's terms of service, or to obtain data you are not permitted to have.
- Attempt to break, probe or bypass authentication, quotas, billing or any other security control, or access another user's garage, saved searches or account.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or copy the service, or reuse our name, branding or content without permission.
- Upload or submit anything unlawful, or use the service for any unlawful purpose.
- Use the AI assistant to generate content unrelated to searching for and evaluating vehicle parts.
10. Availability and changes
We work to keep Classic Source running, but we do not promise that it will be available without interruption, that every retailer will respond to every search, or that results will be complete. Retailers can change their sites, block automated access, or go offline, and when that happens their results may be missing or delayed.
We may add, change, limit or discontinue features, including retailers we search and the plans we offer. If we make a change that meaningfully reduces what a paid plan you are on provides, you may cancel, and section 8 applies.
11. Intellectual property
The Classic Source name, look, and the software behind it belong to DattaDock LLC. Product names, part numbers, descriptions, images and trademarks belong to the retailers and manufacturers they come from, and are shown here to identify the parts they describe. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any retailer or manufacturer unless a page says so explicitly.
12. The service is provided as it is
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Classic Source is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. That includes any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement, and any warranty that the information shown is accurate, current or complete.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DattaDock LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, vehicle downtime, labor costs, or the cost of substitute parts or services, arising out of or relating to your use of Classic Source, even if we have been told such damages are possible.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or one hundred United States dollars.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and some jurisdictions do not allow some of these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
14. Indemnity
You agree to cover our reasonable costs, including legal fees, for claims brought against us that arise from your use of the service in a way that breaks these terms or the law.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date at the top of this page, and for a material change to a paid plan we will also notify account holders by email. Continuing to use Classic Source after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute that is not resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, and both sides consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
Before filing anything, please email us. Nearly everything is faster to fix than to argue about.
17. The rest
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and DattaDock LLC about Classic Source. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent.
